Ron Putman- Wake up San Diego- CW 6
Franchisee Ron Putman showed off his hula skills on live TV and didn’t miss a beat! With an opportunity to promote Maui Wowi’s amazing products, Ron jumped at the chance. He appeared on Wake Up San Diego, the CW 6 San Diego morning show, to promote Maui Wowi in anticipation of the Pro Bowl. The segment showcased Maui Wowi as a great business idea that brings Hawaii to the Mainland. Ron and his wife Barb have been franchisees for over 10 years and are also Directors of Regional Support in California.
Mary Bigler- Entrepreneur.com Franchise Players
Minnesota franchisee and Director of Regional Support Mary Bigler recently did an interview with Entrepreneur.com for their Franchise Players Q&A column. The article, which spotlights franchisees, gives them the chance to tell their stories and share advice. Mary shares her experience with Entrepreneur.com of going from being a stay-at-home mom to becoming a proud business owner. She also talks about her background and the unique presence Maui Wowi has in the state of Minnesota.
Maui Wowi Featured in Entrepreneur Magazine- Culture Club
Entrepreneur Magazine interviewed Brand President Mike Weinberger for the article titled Culture Club that published in the January print edition. The article focused on the importance of company culture and how that plays a part in the happiness and success of a franchise system. Several companies were highlighted but Maui Wowi stole the show, in our opinion. The illustrations that accompanied the article featured caricatures decked out in Hawaiian shirts and flower leis working next to palm trees and surfboards.
